In 1980 I bent my 210cm Rossi SM GS skis and the service center in Winooski, VT wouldn't warranty them. Afterwards I was heading West for the Summer but took a girl to Detroit by way of Ontario, where I bought a case of Molson Brador beer (12% alcohol or something ridiculous like that, a college favorite).

Stopped by the Rossi service center in Clearwater, Utah and dirty and disheveled from the drive, I looked pretty hardcore. I brought my broken skis in, carrying the case of Brador in my other arm and put both on the counter. This was when all the beer in Utah was watered down piss. The Bro said wait here a minute and came back with a new pair of race stock 213 ROCs with SM topspins. They weighed twice as much as the 210s. Those suckers held the line on the hardest ice, I used them for the better part of two seasons teaching at Sugarloaf, 60-80mph down Narrow Gauge, never a bobble, mainly skis for sure!

Cannot remember exact season the pea green alternate cosmetic was available but we did have it to sell. Also the order form for 1992-1993 offered the ski in black and an alternate teal green but I know we only had the black one. My best SWAG makes me think pea green was offered 1990-1991 (the year the 7S appeared), teal had been around for 4 years, and by 1991-1992 everyone was ready for a change so we went black for the next 2 years.

1995-1996 the 4S disappeared making way for the 5S (could really use a good photo of the 4Sv). And yes, the 4Sk with telemark bindings are mine, skied them for several years until I retired from dropping the knee.

Found these this afternoon ...
Very heavy : these are 205 cm and they seem perfect except for some repaired scratches on the bottom .
Will they fit my boots so I can at least ride them once ??
To be seen later this week

The question is , not being a Rossignol fan or specialist : what year are they ??

ps : sorry about the feet ... I was in a hurry ... there was a thunderstorm coming !

If I had not seen the photos I would not have believed that Rossi made a ST 600. ST 650 from the early 1970's but ST 600? The ski shop I worked in back in the 1970's was a big Rossi dealer and sold more Rossi's than most shops sold skis. Never saw a ST 600 before. Thanks for posting the photos. The Marker M20 was not the top of the line binding at that time so I wonder if they are an intermediate ski or a Rossi Make-Up ski. Are they marked with a manufacturing location ? Maybe they are a ski they did sent to the USA and sold in some other countries.

Remember , Uncle-A , that I live in Canada , in Québec .
Not that far , really .
Even myself , not a fan of Rossignol ( never had a pair ) , had never seen a ST600 before !!!
And I can't find anything on the web about that model ... you know , the old skiing mags scanned by Google !

Maybe someone knows more than me ...
Any answer , someone ???

Joal they all look like never been drilled? Are they old photos or do you have a treasure of new old stock (NOS)?
