Good god I had those boots! Possibly a year or two later. Never seen a photo since. Incredibly heavy. That metal rod in the back was at least 1/4 inch thick. Years later, Lange tii's felt very light in comparison.

Funny.
Today a customer came in to our store and said he was shopping there because he heard we had Killy ski wear.
We don't usually get Killy in but we had some late arrival and had some really good response.

I had the incredible experience of meeting Killy for breakfast in Edmonton in 1978. Me and two friends had the bright idea of making Dynamic skies in Alberta. We contacted Michelle Arpin in France and he arranged for Killy to meet with us while on a tour for Sears Canada. It was an amazing day and he was a gracious host. We peppered him with a million questions about skis, ski racing, his many wins, and well everything we could think of.

He made us all feel like we were his long-time friends. Our venture did not work out, but we did have a wonderful experience as a result.

My Killy jacket from 1988.... still in service for dog walking! Actually one of the hardest wearing and warmest jackets I have ever had!

I've been a big fan of Killy ski wear over the years. I accumulated about 4 onsies in the 90s that still sit in the closet waiting to do service again, and have a pair of 15 y/o pants/bibs that still go out on the coldest of days.
