The plastic heel posts inside my touring boots have come unglued from the Grilamid shell. Any recommendations on an adhesive to glue them back and last?

Thanks for the reply and linking that datasheet.

Reading the sheet, sounds like they recommend just plain old superglue (Cyanoacrylate adhesive)? I'll try that or the Urethane, unless anyone has any other input. A few stream fords in boots this Spring caused the previous glue to fail.

IME urethane is much more flexible than Cyanoacrylate. Just saying'.

Good point. Thanks!
Hi, I hope this modest contribution helps. (1) Did the adhesive mentioned in the above thread work OK? (2) Grilamid(TM) is the trade name for a family of "Nylons" - poly(amide) polymers, "plastics". Therefore, I did a quick web-search for "...adhesives for nylon..." and found this: http://reltekllc.com/adhesivesfornylon.aspx . I haven't tried the Reltek products, so I can't vouch for their effectiveness. However, perhaps this may help you. Good luck. :)
