Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows has announced a $25 Silver Season Pass for Active Military. 100% of the proceeds from the pass go to Military to the Mountains, which is a program run by High Fives to get veterans who are disabled back on snow.

Squaw has always been good with military. I remember driving 500 miles from camp Pendleton to ski there one weekend for the free lift tickets they offered.

Kudos to squaw for doing this!

Wow. A generous discount that is most appreciated and an awesome cause. Just have to get the Mrs. on the plane!

Sounds good
BUT Active Military ?
OR retired Active Military ? -big difference. (the retirees would get way more use.)

And I think Andy Wirth did a flub in the video. I heard "DOD" employees also.
heck, I can find an old DOD ID of mine but am sure I would not get the $25 pass. :roflmao:

Bumping this thread because I have had some 'military' discount questions at N* lately.

This is the one I use for many of my ski trips! It's for Vets...... Drumroll........... https://www.veteransholidays.com/ After taxes it ends up at @ around $400 for 7 nights in a 2 - 4 bedroom condo, and you can bring your friends w/o issue. They usually request a copy of your DD-214 as proof of discharge status. They have condos all over the world. Some are REALLY nice!
