If anyone is still kicking around a couple days after Mothers Day I'll be passing through on a long haul west and would love to get some of that sweet HIGH Colorado sunshine. Lets go skiing!

Yeah. I close out my job for the last 7 summers on mothers day in dramatic chaotic fashion. Then I drive. Possibly skiing by Tuesday. Definitely by Wednesday

A couple of years ago I stayed in a condo at Keystone. Many of them are dirt cheap, since Keystone is closed by then, making it a ghost town.
Anyway, I got an email ad from (I'm pretty sure) the management company I rented from.

So in case anyone that hasn't sorted out lodging yet wants it, here it is:

LAST DAY TO SAVE
It's the last day of our promotion, and we didn't want you to miss out.

Use promo code SPRING17B and you can save 15% on any nights of stay from April 17th through June 8th*. With discounted nightly rates starting at $35 this deal is too good to pass up.

I clicked and picked out a one bedroom at random - came to $202 total for three nights, including tax, fees, and cleaning.

^^^ Those are some great deals. We stayed at a lakeside condo for last year's MD. I have to say that it was a bit creepy inhabiting one of maybe four occupied units among hundreds in a whole complex of buildings. Maybe we ought to try to "populate" one particular building or neighborhood?

I've reserved a 1 bed condo in Summit Cove via AirBnB as it's as close as I can get to the big house for that size place. Might change to Key if there was a group there as I can cancel for free up until May 5.

That's going to be a long week for me. I'm sure I'll be up there one of the days.

I will not be there =/

But I did rep pugski pretty hard on the lift today. Had multiple conversations that led to me pointing to the pugski stickers on my skis, and encouraging them to come by the beach next weekend to check us out. I promised someone a screwdriver or similar alcoholic beverage if he dropped my name ... he was dressed in a derby jacket, shirt, etc for today, and seemed like a fun guy, so I felt he would fit in with us lot.

I can't remember where all people have posted what they're bringing ...

I was thinking I'd bring a thermos or two of premixed (by me! the real stuff!) coin margaritas. I've never mixed up the lime juice (freshly squeezed of course!), triple sec, and tequila the night before, but I can't think why they would need to be shaken immediately before pouring. Thoughts?

Just compressed a bit.

"Are the peas in the salad fresh?"
- "Yes, of course."
"They're not frozen?"
