Need ski advice (Wingman 82 CTi / Deacon 80 / RC One 82 GT)

Hi all. I am 173 cm, ~82kg (5'8", ~180lbs) intermediate-advanced skier in my early 50-ies. I most often ski on a groomed terrain, which usually becomes chopped-up / slushy with moguls (especially steeper red slopes) in the afternoon. I have no difficulty skiing on blue and red slopes (European...

    Fischer RC4 RCS tip guards

Hey ya'll, I have a pair of '22 Fischer RC4 RCS skis where the tip 'guards' or 'deflectors', whatever you call them, have been-through-the-wringer. I tried through a local distributor, but they said they couldn't order a new set to screw in :-( Does anyone know how to buy a new set of tip...

How do u identify between international and national version of RC4 fis SL

I know the national version has the M/B plate but apart from that it seems that there are no way to identify wether the ski is nat or int version…Fischer seems hide every detail about it…Model number(253)and serial number on the ski are all the same;maybe the numbers on the side wall will help...

    Head e.Rally / Fischer Dtx / Others...

I'm looking for a narrow edition to my quiver. And from a lot of review and forum trawling I think one of these two options may be the right choice: - Fischer curv DTX (2021 - my price range) - Head e.Rally (not sure how the models differ year to year since they changed from 'i' to 'e')...

    Fischer ranger 107 thoughts

Would it be crazy to put a shift binding on the Fischer Ranger 107 TI ski for side county/short tours? I have a lighter setup for longer tours and a health quiver of resort skis. I was thinking the 189(but possibly the 182) length with a shift might be a good travel setup as well, seems like it...

Fischer Ranger Free 120 - Shell customizable?

Looking at getting the Fischer Ranger Free 120 for sidecountry laps. Fit is "almost" good but looks like I'll need a punch out at the side of my big toe and maybe on the outside of the heel. Does the Grilamid shell support this? I can't seem to find any info on it online. Also, if anybody is...

    JSkis, Fischer Motive/Ranger, Elan Amphibio

I mainly ski frontside. My kids take me into tracked out trees and scare me to death because I cant maneuver fast enough and the bumps are closer together than my skis are long. I love to tear down an unpopulated groomed run and I keep attempting black bumps but they win everytime so far. We ski...

    Individual Review Fischer Ranger Jr

A quality ski for Tween sized skiers is hard to find. Constructions and shapes can be all over the map. My 10 year-old prefers skiing in our ski school program instead of racing, so she needs a true one ski quiver as there is no telling what she will get from one day to the next and one coach to...
